Filipino scientist who developed and utilized biogas. He created a coconut oil-fueled power generator and developed one of the world's most profitable biogas systems.

In 1984, a thriving piggery gave him and his son, Felix K. Maramba Jr., the idea of generating their own power with methane gas produced from manure.
