Outcomes

• Students will develop literacy and writing skills while studying History/Social Science content
• Students will choose an historical figure to read about and research, using secondary and, if possible, primary sources.
• Students will use an outline to conduct the research
• Students will use a cloze structure to draft their essay rough draft
• Students will revise and rewrite their essay freehand or on word processing.
• Students will choose the media for their presentation --- a poster, a Power Point or a documentary video.
